Honorata Chorąży-Przybysz - Integrative Creative Counsellor / Clay Therapist (Adults, young people & children)
I am an integrative creative counsellor, certified clay therapist, and experienced therapeutic arts practitioner. I truly believe in - and have witnessed in my work - the healing power of creativity. I offer a tailored approach to clients and draw on psychodynamic, existential, and person-centred approaches. I offer sessions to adults, children, and young people.

I have been working in the therapeutic and creative fields since 2015 across the public health sector, mental health services, charities, and youth organisations. I have now qualified as a creative counsellor and provide deepening self-exploration and therapeutic impact using a variety of creative methods including arts, metaphors, words, clay and work with objects. I also work outdoors using the therapeutic impact of nature.

I have experience of, and interest in, working with neurodiversity (being neurodivergent myself), autism, the LGBTQ+ community, relational and childhood trauma, cross cultural experiences, refugees and self-identity, as well as complex grief. I have previously worked with young people at Service Six in Northamptonshire and adults at Northamptonshire Mind.

You may feel anxious about creative therapy and all the emotions you are bringing in. I am naturally fascinated by each unique story and the ways in which each person experiences the world. We are, in that way, creative because we create our own life. When we realise the life we have experienced is not what we would like to create we may feel a range of emotions which are difficult to handle. During the talk therapy the need may emerge to reach beyond words, to connect creatively with a more complex inner world of our own. I offer deepening self-exploration by using creative methods and nature as part of my tools.

I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), Creative Counsellors Association and Association of Person Centred Creative Arts. I am also a practicing artist and have a keen interest in offering my services to artists and creative professionals, to explore the nature of the creative cycle, being an artist, and mental creative blocks.
