Doma Tamang - Integrative Counsellor & Psychotherapist (Clients age 16+)
I am a counsellor and psychotherapist with experience of working therapeutically with young people and adults. I take an integrative approach to therapy, with elements of Humanistic, CBT, and Psychodynamic approaches. I believe that each individual is unique, and integration allows the flexibility to tailor our sessions to your specific needs. This approach also reflects my core values: accepting people for who they are and recognising the strength in our differences.
I have experience in supporting individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, navigating difficulties such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, bereavement, childhood trauma and relationship challenges.
I offer a safe, compassionate and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings openly. Together, we’ll work to understand your experiences, build self-awareness, and move towards positive change. What truly motivates me is seeing clients grow; gaining confidence, improving their mental health and well-being, and stepping into a more fulfilling life. If you're thinking about taking that first step, I'm here to guide you - helping you navigate difficult emotions and empowering you to reach your goals.
I offer a range of fees including a low-cost option. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their ethical framework in all areas of my practice.
