Lootie Johansen-Bibby

My name is Lootie and I am a movement artist, creative facilitator and expressive arts psychotherapist. I am committed to facilitating people to become more at home in their bodies and more in tune with life on our planet.
I am a registered clinical Dance Movement Psychotherapist with an MA from Goldsmiths University, and a PG Diploma in Integrative Arts Therapy from the Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education. I have worked with adults, children and adolescents in school, healthcare, higher education, corporate and forensic settings.
My background is in dance, theatre and performance, and I have a long history of creating artistic work with professionals, children and communities. Over the last two decades I have trained in physical theatre, 5Rhythms dance, Action Theater, somatic yoga, improvisation and group singing.
Most recently, I have been exploring working with dance, performance and therapy outside in nature. I hold a space for curiosity and for the ongoing rediscovery of our authentic nature.
I have an embodied understanding of how movement, mindful attention and creativity can facilitate healing. My wish is to share this with others as a pathway to deeper personal, social and ecological wellbeing in our shared world.
