I chose to become a counsellor because I have a deep desire to assist people through life's challenges and firmly believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to be heard and understood. This is fundamental for gaining insight into ourselves, our relationships, and our behaviours.
Through counselling, I can apply my skills and evidence-based techniques to genuinely support my clients. I primarily use Person-Centred Therapy (PCT) to foster a safe and empathetic environment where you will feel heard and valued without any judgement.
When appropriate, I also incorporate Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) to address unhelpful thoughts and behaviours which is particularly beneficial for clients experiencing anxiety. By combining PCT and CBT, I offer a flexible approach that merges emotional support with practical tools tailored to your unique needs and goals.
